2 | Raw banana |
1 bunch | Radish leaves |
1 no | Onion medium ( chopped ) |
1 no | Tomato (finely chopped or crushed) |
2½ tsp | Sambhar powder (store bought gives good color) |
Salt to taste | |
3 tsp | Gingelly oil |
½ tsp | Mustard seeds |
½ tsp | Haldi |
½ tsp | Methi seeds |
Lemon Sz | Tamarind (lime size)(extract the pulp) |
1 cup | Moong dal cooked |
Instructions
Wash keerai thoroughly and chop. Chop raw banana into small pieces. Cook dal till mushy. Take oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, methi seeds, after they crackle, add chopped onion and saute. When light brown add chopped tomato and saute. Add salt, haldi and saute. Add keerai and raw banana, saute.
Add tamarind pulp, sambhar powder and mix well. Cook till done. Add cooked dal and mix well. Let it boil and serve.
Notes
Serve hot with rice and aloo fry.
