Mysorepak

Description

It is a southindian sweet. Mostly prepared during festival like DIWALI. 

Ingredients
1 cup Gramflour
2 cup Sugar
2 cup Ghee
1 cup Water

Instructions

 

First grease a plate with sides and keep aside. From starting step till end we have to stir continously otherwise the mixture will get burnt.First roast the gram flour till nice aroma comes. Take a kadai put sugar and water mix and let it boil till sugar dissolves, then reduce the flame add gram flour side by side mix it with sugar syrup with a whisker so that no lump is formed ,go on stirring when it becomes thick add ghee  half – half cup and stir with one hand. After some time it will leave the sides of kadai and vigourous bubble start forming at this stage some, add soda(1/4 tsp) also when it will leave sides and gather in the centre and it will form to dry soon transfer into the greased plate and tap the plate to spread dont use ladle or spoons to spread ,after some time cut with greased spoon
