Mutton Gravy(Goat)

Mutton cooked in thick coconut gravy, which looks little thicker than stew.Mutton Khorma/ Mutton Kurma / Kari Kolumbu.

Ingredients
1 lb Goat meat (with bones)
1 Onion medium ( chopped)
1 tsp Ginger paste
2 nos Potato
2 tsp Corainder powder
1 no Tomato (chopped)
2 nos Chilly
1 tsp Chilly powder
1 tsp Aniseeds powder(sombu)
1 cup Grinded coconut

Instructions

Mutton Gravy(Goat)

Wash and cut mutton (goat meat) and keep aside.Heat oil in a pressure pan and add the chopped onions ,chillies and fry until golden brown, then add Ginger garlic paste and chopped tomatoes fry until the raw smell goes away. After that add Chilly powder and corainder powder ,potato fry for few minutes .Then add the meat along with one cup of water.Let it cook for 5 minutes. After that add the grinded coconut and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles.Once it is done ,open the pressure cooker after the pressure is released completely add 1/2 teaspoon of sombu and mix it.
