Mushroom Masala

Description

This dish is a south indian dish and is made with button mushroom.
Ingredients
1 no Onion – large ;
2 nos Tomatoes – medium size
10 nos Button mushrooms
1 inch Ginger
2 clove Garlic
1 no Clove
1 no Cinnamon
1 no Cardamon
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Oil
1 cup Water
2 tsp Salt
1 bunch Coriander leaves – for garnishing

Instructions

Blend the onions,tomatoes,ginger,garlic and all the spices to a fine paste.In a pan,heat a spoon of oil and fry the blended paste for few minutes.Then add some salt and red chilli powder,button mushrooms and a cup of water.Cover the pan and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chappathi.

Notes

Don't wash the button mushrooms in water.It may change the color of the mushrooms. Instead,wipe the mushrooms with a wet towel or cloth to avoid discoloration.
