Description
Chai/Tea is prepared in many ways ,masala chai/tea is one of the preparation in which different state people add different types of spices. The way I prepare, is by the common spices included by everyone
Ingredients | |

1½ cup | Milk |
½ cup | Water |
2 | Elaichi |
2 | Lavang/cloves |
½ inch | Cinnamon stick/dalchini |
½ inch | Ginger |
2¼ tsp | Tea powder |
Sugar to taste |
Instructions
Mix milk and water .Boil the milk reduce the flame add all spices boil for a minute add teapowder and boil till good colour of the tea comes out remove from the flame and then add suger to taste stir, filter and serve.
The other way, grind the spices into coarse powder/paste in a mixie ( run the mixie once )when millk boils reduce flame add the ground spices and rest same procedure.
Notes
Some add dry ginger/chukku/sonth ,pepper, coriander seeds…

Always i use dry ginger and cardomom for tea.This time tried ur other spices. Hmmm……very tasty and digestive masala tea……
