Maravallikizhangu (Tapioca) Pakoda

We used to do pakoda with onions r else with cashew nuts, i tried it out with leftover steamed maravallikizhangu(tapioca) n its ressembles very much as we do with onions…its was so crispy, spicy n very good snacks for evening, kids love deep fried items…here we go
Ingredients
1 cup Steamed n grated tapioca pieces
2 nos Onions
3 nos Green chillies
1 tsp Fennel seed powder
4 nos Garlic pods
1 inch Ginger
¼ cup Gram flour
¼ cup Rice flour
¼ cup Corn flour
10 nos Curry leaves
Salt as per taste
Oil for deep frying
2 tsp Dalda
1 pinch Turmeric powder
½ tsp Baking soda

Instructions

Cut the onions in lengthwise finely, cut the green chillies into small pieces, crush the garlic pods, chop the ginger into small pieces, take a large bowl add the steamed n grated tapioca pieces followed by the onion pieces, green chilli pieces, crushed garlic pods,baking soda, ginger pieces,curry leaves, fennel see powder , gram flour, rice flour n corn flour n turmeric powder, heat the 2 tsp of dalda in a pan n  add it too…mix everything well with salt , sprinkle some water n mix everything thoroughly…dough should be thick not sticky ..

Heat oil in a pan, once the oil is hot, take a small quantity of the dough n n spread them in hot oil, fry them until they turns brownish colour…dont overcrowd, fry them in batches…

Crispy maravallikizhangu pakoda are ready n store them in air tightened box, will be good for a week…it will vanish before that for the sure…
