Very Easy to prepare….!
Ingredients | |

1 cup | Maida flour |
5 nos | Cahewnuts |
1 cup | Water |
2 pinch | Cardamom (powdered) |
1 cup | Ghee |
2 pinch | Food colour (red) |
2 cup | Sugar |
5 nos | Raisins |
Instructions
1. Heat kadai and add ghee on it.
2.Then fry Cashew and raisins.keep aside.
3.then fry maida in 3tablespoons of ghee for a 2mts till it slightly turn its color.
4.meanwhile boil water and add food color on it and pour this hot water on to the fried maida gently.
5.keep the heat in medium temprature before you pour the hot water into the maida mixture.
6.it will cook sooner.then add sugar on it and mix well..
7.add remaining ghee and powdered cardomom on it.lastly add fried cashew and raisins..
8.your maida halwa is ready in 10mts. enjoy

Hi… Hey i tried out this halwa but somehow dint get it right.. Once i added sugar to that maida mixture, it started forming lumps which i was not able to dissolve in it. So the entire thing was a flop… Is there anything that can be done to overcome the formation of lumps??
hi,sorry its been a long time since i see this website..coming to your point..i think you have not fried well..if you fry slowly you could see the smell of maida and it will slightly change its color and then reduce the heat to medium low and then pour this water little by little and then gently stir them well..dont get panic if get lumps..as soon as you add sugar it will get dissolved..hope this one will help you.
