Ingredients | |

10 stks | Curry leaves |
½ cup | Coconut (grated) |
3 | Red chillies (whole) |
2 tsp | Urad dal |
pinch | Hing |
1 MarbleSz | Tamarind |
Salt (as per taste) | |
1 tsp | Coconut oil |
Instructions
Wash curry leaves. In a pan, pour coconut oil, add red chillies, urad dal and hing. Saute for 2 mins. Add curry leaves and saute for 2 mins. Remove from flame and add grated coconut.
Leave aside to chill.
Put all in a grinder, add salt, tamarind pulp. Grind with little water. Serve with rice and vathal kuzhambu.

Mom used to torture us to take it every other day… Slightly different… She grinds green chilli, onion, garlic, ginger, pepper & cumin seeds and grind karuvepillai and coconut. We call it karuvepillai Sambol :):):)
