Jeera Rice

Description

Jeera rice suits to all types of gravies .It is a healthy food. Children will love it .
Ingredients
1 cup Basmathi rice
½ tsp Jeera
2 Elaichi
2 Lavang/cloves
½ inch Cinnamon stick/dalchini
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
Oil
1½ cup Water

Instructions

Wash basmathi rice and keep side.In a cooker heat some oil add the spices followed by ginger garlic paste fry till raw smell goes then add washed basmathi rice with one and a half cup water  add salt to taste and pressure cook for 1 whistle and switch off the gas .When the pressure leaves transfer the rice into a serving bowl .

Notes

Its optional we can add 1/4th teaspoon jeera powder also.

Any type of rich gravies suits this rice.
