Ingredients | |

1 | Onion[medium sized finely chopped] |
1 tbsp | Tomato ketchup |
1 | Capsicum[finely chopped] |
10 stks | Garlic chives[optional] |
6 | Idly[can be fresh or left over idlies] |
Handfull of cooked channa[optional] | |
1 tsp | Ginger garlic paste |
1 | Green chilly[slit opened] |
Chilly powder (as per individual’s preference) | |
1 tsp | Garam masala |
Salt and oil as per need | |
Corriander and curry leaves for garnishing | |
Few fennel seeds |
Instructions
Cut the left over idlies in to small cubes, add leftover channa to it and keep it aside.
1.Take a pan add oil and add fennel seeds, then add onion, followed by garlic chives[optional], capsicum and saute well.
2.Now add ginger garlic paste and green chillies and saute well.
3. Add all the masalas one by one and mix well with salt.
4.Now put the idly pieces and channa [optional] and mix well.Leave it on the stove in sim for about 5 minutes and add tomato sauce at the end and mix well.
Garnish wit corriander leaves and serve.
Delicious breakfast is ready !!!
Notes
I actually had made sundal yesterday evening and found handful of sundal left over so i used it in this recipe.If u want u can cook channa with some salt and add it or else its optional.
Garlic chives are the ones which i really like since i had so much of garlic chives , i have added again it is optional.
Tomato ketchup is to bring a slightly tangy flavour in the recipe.
