Double Ka Meetha is one of the famous desert in Andhra Pradesh.
Ingredients | |

6 slice | Small size bread |
½ cup | Sugar |
Dalda (for deep frying) | |
1 tsp | Kaju |
1 tsp | Pista |
1 tsp | Badam |
1 tsp | Raisins |
¼ cup | Boiled milk |
Instructions
Cut the corners of the bread and make 2 pieces of the bread slice. Dry the bread in hot sun or heat in microwave to become hard .Make sugar syrup and keep aside. Then deep fry or shallow fry the dried bread pieces in dalda or ghee or butter, once deep or shallow fried arrange the pieces in a serving bowl/dish pour the milk over all the pieces, then pour sugar syrup all over. At this stage bread will float on sugar syrup ,but after 1 to 2 hrs all the syrup will be soaked by the bread .Garnish with fried nuts and raisins.Before serving mix well and serve.

We 3 are busy in mechanical designing so passed this easy recipe to our 4th hse mate. She made & It tasted good. Thank you so much for sharing it. It was bit sweet… We all liked it. So made an agreement with her that she must make it every weekend, and we will do any favour to her….. :):):)
