coconut (Thengai) thuvayal

Thengai thuvayal is a very tasty dish which can be prepared very easily with easy ingredients. try it out and enjoy

Ingredients

Instructions

 

Ing :-

Coconut – 1 cup

Red chilli – 5-6 nos.

Ginger – 1/2 inch

uradh dhal – 1 tbsp

Tamarind – small ball size .

Oil – 3 tbsp

Salt to taste

Hing (as per the taste)

 

Method:

Grate coconut and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan and fry red chillies and uradh dhal until golden brown. allow it to cool.

Grind all the ing. by adding little water. Add the uradh dhal and hing in the last and just grind once.

 

This thuvayal can be served with hot rice and ghee. hope u all enjoy this.

    radha’s keerai kulambu will go well with this thengai thuvayal. we always eat thengai thuvayal with keerai kulambu.
