Simple and easy to make cashew sweet, one of the popular dessert item made during festivals, mainly Diwali. Here is a simplified version of it from my kitchen.
Dessert item made with almonds. Pure badam halwa is made only with almonds, but here, I have followed the way which my granny taught me. Using little cashews actually seems to reduce the strong almond flavor.
Samosa is a popular crispy snack or chat item, pastry shell stuffed with potato and peas filling and deep fried.
Frittata is an Italian omelette made with vegetables , meats and cheese. Very hearty meal , can be served any time of the day.

Green peas cooked in thick onion tomato gravy.
Chicken cooked in rich sauce made with nuts, spices and cream. (Mugalai Chicken / Mughalai Chicken)
Burfi made with fresh grated coconut, milk and sugar. Made during diwali season this chewy treat is the best of all sweets. Often this item is made with just sugar and coconut, whereas this recipe is slightly different, i have used milk to make it little rich.
