Beans dhosa

I like this dhosa since my childhood.I ate in my friends house but aunty makes with 2 type of beans. After coming to USA, i tried this recipe with many types of beans.  My husband like very much.I want to share with every one.This recipe is very health and tasty.I hope u all enjoy it.

Mixed beans

Red kidney beans

Lima beans

soya beans

toor dal,Green peas

moong dal

Garbonzo .

If u want u can add other beans but i have these beans.With this only i tried Idlies too.

Ingredients
1 cup Mixed beans
Salt (as per taste)
1 cup Rice
½ cup Urad dal
5 Green chillies
1 cup Chopped cilantro
Ginger
4 Curry leaves
2 Red chillies(optional)
Tamarind (optional) little
tsp Jeera (little)

Instructions

Soak 1 cup mixed beans ,uraddal and rice in abowl with water for 4 hrs.

Drain and grind with green chillies,red chillies,ginger,cilantro to make a fine paste with soaking water(like dhosa batter).Now add curry leaves,salt,jeera.After 2 or 3 hrs u can make dhosa with chopped onions,grated carrot.

Notes

For idly i add baking soda and kept over night.Instead of rice we can add Idly rava.I

    This recipe looks very healthy..i’ll definitely try this..is this an Andhra recipe?..i actually happened to eat this(something similar) in one of my frends house who happ’ to be a telugu.

    Your recipe is fixed, check it. Fraction doesn’t work for count, use only decimals.
