Normal kesari or halwa with a sweet twist….
Ingredients | |

½ cup | Suji |
1 | Apple medium pureed |
1 cup | Milk |
1 cup | Water |
½ cup | Sugar |
½ tsp | Elaichi powder |
Saffron | |
Chopped nuts | |
Apple sliced finely |
Instructions
Dry roast Suji in a pan till it gives out nice aroma. Boil milk with water, add sugar, elaichi powder, saffron and mix well. Add suji little by little stirring continuously. Take care so that no lumps are formed. Cook till semi dry. Now add pureed apple and cook for 2-3 mts. Garnish with sliced apple and nuts and serve.
Notes
Take care not to let the suji change its colour while roasting.
