A scrumptious yet easy breakfast sandwich for those who have that sensitive taste buds. The recipe goes with an indianized sandwich which is an uncommon combination of chinese bok choy and indian paneer with added taste from mushroom.
Bok Choy, also called chinese cabbage is a member of cabbage family. This vegetable is rich in vitamin C and calcium which also helps in reducing the risk of cancer.
Ingredients | |
---|---|
1 bunch | Bok choy |
7 nos | Mushroom sliced |
15 slice | Paneer (cubed) |
½ no | Onion (sliced lengthwise) |
½ tsp | Garam masala powder |
½ tsp | Salt |
1 tsp | Oil |
6 slice | Bread |
Instructions
Bok Choy: Clean the stalks thoroughly removing all the muds. Now, remove the hard lower part and chop the leaves finely.
Mushroom: clean and remove the stems and cut into slices.
Paneer: Cut 15 flat cubes suitable for sandwich stuffing.
Method: Heat the oil and add the onion. When onion turns translucent, add the finely chopped bok choy. Once the leaves are wilted a little, add the mushroom slices and leave the flame in medium for 3 minutes. After the mushroom is cooked, add garam masala and salt. Wait for 2 minutes and then add the paneer cubes. Once the paneer is added, don't keep in the stove for too long as it will harden the paneer. A quick stir for 1 to 2 minutes must do. Now switch off the stove and toast the bread slices. Once the mixture is cooled off, place the mix inside two slices of bread and enjoy the yummy sandwich.
