| 2 tsp | Butter (room temperature) |
| 2 tsp | Oregano leaves r any other herbs |
| ¼ cup | Emmental cheese r any other grated cheese |
| Maida for dusting | |
| 1 tsp | Pepper powder (optional) |
Instructions
Dust the puff pastry sheet with maida n flatten them… now brush the butter over the sheet sufficiently..this helps the oregano leaves n cheese to get sticks well with the pastry sheet..sprinkle the oregano leaves followed by the emmental cheese n pepper powder(optional), can use any type of cheese except the mozzarella, once they r well covered the pastry sheet, roll the pastry sheet well with the rolling pin, cut the sheet crosswise with a knife r pizza cutter into 15 strips(it depends upon the sheet u r using)..
Preheat the oven… Twist each strips r roll them into long sticks..arrange them in a parchement paper n bake them for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 F..bake until they turns brownish n a bit puffed…dont overbake else the cheese will burn..
Cool the cheese sticks n serve them at room temperature…
