This recipe is from my grandma, and i use to prepare in all the get together functions, which my entire family like it,…..
and my friends have made it popular even in abroad….
so friends try this recipe and say me how u feel about it!

| 1 kg | Chicken |
| 200 g | Onion (chopped) |
| 200 g | Tomato (chopped) |
| 2 nos | G.chillies(chopped-thin) |
| 1 bunch | Coriander leaves (chopped ) |
| 6 nos | Garlic (finely minced) |
| 2 tsp | Ghee (optional) |
| 2 nos | Cardamon |
| 1 inch | Cinnamon stick |
| 3 nos | Cloves |
| 6 T | Oil |
| 1 tsp | Salt (as per taste) |
| 1 cup | Water |
| 1 tsp | Tumeric powder |
| 1 tsp | Ginger & garlic paste |
Instructions
clean chicken, wash& drain…keep aside.
now powder the ingredients 2 to a fine powder[dry grind]
Heat a mud pot or pressure pan, heat oil, add in the cinnamon, cloves, cardamons, while crackels , add fine cut garlic to it[my grandma prefers crushed garlic cloves with skin, but i use fine cut] while it changes colour slightly, add in the fine cut onions, saute till golden, and in the tomatoes, mix it well till it combine well with onions , add in the g.cilles and the chopped coriander leaves, saute well…
Now add chicken to it mix it well… add turmeric powder to it, mix well,add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste to it, mix all togetherand add the powder to it[u can see how much u needed and add it accordingly, as, we use more spicy …3 peppers are added, g.chilles, red.chilles& peppercorns, so adujust ur spicy level' and add in the spice powder to it…
mix it well , now add 1/2 cup of water to it , and salt required to it , now cook it in medium flame covered, for 10….15 mts.
remove while required consistency, add a spoonfull of ghee to it, and chopped coriander leaves over it….
steaming hot plain rice, is the first choice to have this chicken….
