2 cup | Dosa batter |
1 cup | Onion (finely chopped) |
1 cup | Carrot (shredded) |
1 tsp | Cumin seeds |
1 stks | Curry leaves |
1 no | Green chili (finely chopped) |
2 T | Oil (for dosai) |
Salt (as per taste) |
Instructions
Heat a pan pour some oil and add cumin seeds then add onion and fry it for a couple of minutes
Now add curry leaves , salt according to your taste , green chillies ,shredded carrot and fry it for a minute , keep it aside .
Now heat the dosa tawa pour one laddle ful of batter and add the fried onion and carrot mixture on the top of the dosa pour oil and cover it with a lid .(dont forget to keep the stove in medium heat)
Once the top portion turns to golden brown color,carefully flip the dosa and allow it to brown on the other side too.Now you can serve it with hot onion chutney …yummy………

Hi Aruna, When my son was 2 years old (he is 5 now) he never used to eat any veggies, dosa was his favourite. i used to grate carrots, cabbage, simply mix them into the dosa batter and make dosas. easy way to make kids favourite food(dosa) nutritious.

Hiiiii My mom also makes thosai like that… coz we dont like few veges. naaaaa most veges. You can also add beetroot, fried onions – curry leaves – fennel seeds, finely shopped spinach. Can make kutti kutti thosai with different veges as kutti thosai attracts even adults like us, so kids would love them :D:D:D
