Description:
A couple of weeks ago, I got a little carried away at Sams club and came home with a big box of fresh strawberries that started to turn on me the minute I set them onto the counter. With a blender, some sugar and ice cubes I was all set for this refreshing drink which is not only easy to make but also healthy! Quench your thirst on a hot day with this bright red refreshing cooler. Ahhhhhh……….

Ingredients | |
---|---|
Ripe Strawberries | 16 whole |
Sugar | 2 Tablespoons |
Cold Water | 2 cups |
Ice cubes | 6 |
Method:
Throw in those ripe bright red strawberries in a blender along with the sugar.
Blend to make a thick puree.
Now add water to this thick puree and blend again.
Use a metal sieve (as the one in the picture above) and strain. A jelly strainer will work too, allowing the juice and some healthy pulp to pass through the mesh. Add few ice cubes and serve chilled.
Notes:
Yield- 2 Adult servings (about 2 cups of juice)
Adjust sugar level depending on the sweetness of the strawberries.
If you want to have your juice little clear, then so not squeeze the mixture while straining. Squeezing too much may yield kind of cloudy consistency.

I love citrus fruits. That’s why I make citrus juice every morning. Citrus fruits are filled with nutrients and vitamin-c. Citrus fruits are great for juicing. Thank you for your post. Informative and helpful.
