Description
Spicy Mutton fry made with goat ribs which often known as chops.
Ingredients | |

½ kg | Mutton chops |
3 nos | Onion (finely chopped) |
1 no | Tomato (diced) |
1 tsp | Ginger garlic paste |
¼ tsp | Turmeric powder |
1 tsp | Red chilli powder |
2 tsp | Coriander /dhania powder |
1 tsp | Black pepper powder |
¼ tsp | Garam masala powder |
1 tsp | Salt or to taste |
6 tsp | Oil |
10 nos | Curry leaves |
5 stks | Coriander leaves (for garnishing) |
Instructions
Wash and keep mutton pieces ready. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add half of the curry leaves, once they splutter add chopped onions and fry till golden. Then add ginger garlic paste and saute for some more time. Now add the mutton pieces and fry for couple of minutes. Once they are brown, add chopped tomatoes along with all the dry masalas, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhania powder, black pepper powder, garam masala and salt. Mix everything , add a cup of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. When the steam releases, open and simmer until the oil separates, garnish with coriander and curry leaves.

picture looks really good but can we try without using garam masala. I am pregnant so i hate garam masala smell. pls do suggest me.
