Made a batch of super easy Nutella cookies during this past christmas break. Should i even bother to introduce Nutella … hey, anything with nutella is a double ok and its universal period! I was browsing for an easy cookie recipe using nutella and this one from Kirbie’s Craving is the top most on search engine with good reviews… closed my eyes and gave it a try.
The verdict – For just 4 ingredients it is out the world yummy! The cookie turns out slightly flat, a little chewy but moist with full of nutella goodness, for which I surrender!

Ingredients | |
All purpose Flour | 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon |
Egg | 1 large |
Nutella | 1 cup |
Baking powder | 1 teaspoon |
In a large bowl, combine nutella, egg, baking powder and flour. I decided to beat the egg before adding to the mixture that way it evenly blends. Use a spoon to mix thoroughly to avoid any streaks of egg or flour.
Though original recipe doesn’t say anything about refrigerating the dough, I decided to refrigerate for 30 minutes to make the dough firm.
When you are ready to bake, roll them into equal sized balls.
Bake at 350F for 10 – 12 minutes not more than that.
As soon you take them out they will look puffy as shown and slightly gooey. Let cool for 15 minutes.
Once the cookie cool it turns thin and flat. Now start eating before anybody gets home!
Notes
Makes 20 (2 inch diameter)
